Atletico Madrid await Costa fee to sign Negredo

Madrid, July 1 (IANS/EFE) La Liga champions Atletico Madrid are waiting for the Diego Costa transfer money to arrive from Chelsea to seal the deal for Manchester City's Alvaro Negredo.

The negotiations are on between Chelsea and Atletico Madrid to finalise Costa's transfer to the English capital to provide enough cash to sign Negredo as Costa's replacement, reports EFE.

According to reports, the 'Los Rojiblancos' will also discuss the possibility of extending the loan of Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois for a fourth season.
