Australian students tested after alleged needle prank

Eight Australian teenagers on Thursday were sent to a medical centre for precautionary tests after they were pricked by a hypodermic needle in a suspected high school prank.
"Police have been told a student was doing what appears to be a prank which involved a needle," Efe news quoted the New South Wales Police as saying.
"As a result, eight teenagers received a minor needle prick," it said.
The police would also be speaking to the teenager, who played the prank, as part of an ongoing inquiry into the incident.
