Auto driver held for raping 23-yr-old woman in Delhi
An auto-rickshaw driver has been arrested for raping a 23-year-old woman here, police said on Tuesday.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Omvir Singh said the crime took place on Saturday in Gazipur in east Delhi.
The driver, who is about 30 years of age, allegedly raped the woman after she boarded his auto on Saturday night, police said.
"Passersby caught the accused and handed him over to police," a police officer told IANS.
The woman is the mother of three children, police said.
