European football champions Barcelona announced that Turkish midfielder Arda Turan will not play against Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday night in the second leg of the Copa del Rey quarter-finals due to fever, while fellow midfielders Sergio Busquets and Andres Iniesta were called up although they have a cold.
Turan has not trained recently, while Busquets and Iniesta were absent from a training session in the past two days, reports Efe.
Barcelona will also miss goalkeeper Claudio Bravo, forward Sandro Ramirez and defender Douglas.
Barcelona won the first leg against Bilbao 2-1 last week.
