Body of newborn found in Gurgaon

Gurgaon, April 19 (IANS) The body of girl born two or three days ago was found near the busy Rajiv Chowk here, police said Friday. Dogs had chewed up parts of the body.

The body was discovered near the Sohna bus stand on the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway. "The baby might have been abandoned by some commuter," police officer Surender Kumar said.

The police were alerted after someone informed the police Thursday night after seeing that dogs were fighting over the baby's flesh.
