The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister narendra Modi, on Wednesday gave its ex-post facto approval to signing of MoU with Malaysia on development of a urea and ammonia manufacturing plant in the southeast Asian country.
According to an official press release, the project is expected to cost $2.1 billion with capacity to produce 2.4 million tonnes of urea and 1.35 million tonnes of ammonia per annum with provision of dedicated supply to Indian market.
