Australia skipper Michael Clarke suggested that his team will have no mercy on Scotland as the four-time champions seek another victory in their last World Cup Pool A match, ahead of the knockouts.

"It doesn't matter who we're playing against. Everybody has turned up to training, wanting to get better," Clarke was quoted as saying by sport24.co.za.

Australia qualified for the last eight following Sunday's 64-run win over Sri Lanka.

"We need momentum and we need to grab it and run with it for as long as we possibly can. In Hobart, it'll be full steam ahead looking to become better individually and as a team," he added.

Victory against Pool A's rock-bottom Scotland on Saturday will ensure the runners-up spot behind New Zealand. Following that, Australia are likely to meet Ireland, the West Indies or Pakistan in the last-eight clash in Adelaide on March 20.
