World No.1 Novak Djokovic, bidding for his third consecutive title at the ATP World Tour Finals, Saturday beat Japan's Kei Nishikori 6-1, 3-6, 6-0 in the semifinals at the O2 Arena here.
The match seemed an easy affair for the Serbian as he took only 23 minutes to win the first set 6-1, Xinhua reported.
But Nishikori, ranked fifth in the world and the first Asian to qualify for the year-end finale, fought back to level the score by win the second 6-3.
It was the first set Djokovic dropped in this year's tournament.
Djokovic, who secured the year-end No.1 position Friday, made easy work of the third set, winning 6-0 in just 27 minutes.
He will vie for the title against the winner of the other semifinal between Roger Federer and his Swiss compatriot Stan Wawrinka, which will be held Saturday night.
