DMK allots Chidambaram constituency to VCK

The DMK Thursday inked a seat sharing agreement with Dalit party VCK. allotting it Tamil Nadu's Chidambaram constituency for the general elections.

A joint statement issued here by DMK and VCK said the latter has been allotted the Chidambaram constituency.

With this, the DMK has concluded its seat-sharing deals with its four allies - Muslim outfits MMK and IUML- and Dalit parties (VCK and PT), giving them one seat each in Tamil Nadu, which has 39 Lok Sabha constituencies.
