DMK seeks support in Yercaud by-poll

DMK president M.Karunanidhi Tuesday sought the support of all political parties in the state barring the ruling AIADMK, for the party candidate in the Dec 4 bye-election to Yercaud assembly constituency.

In his appeal sent to all the leaders of the Congress, DMDK, the Bharatiya Janata Party, PMK, the Left parties and others, Karunanidhi said the DMK has decided to field its candidate in the ensuing bye-election to the Yercaud seat and requested support to save democracy in the state.
