Draw for AFC Women's Asian Cup 2018 in Jordan

Hosts Jordan were drawn into Group A with China, Thailand and the Philippines in the AFC Women's Cup 2018, which will take place here from April 7 to 22.

Japan landed in Group B with Australia, South Korea and Vietnam, according to the draw, which was held in a ceremony at the Dead Sea, reports Xinhua news agency.

The winners and runners-up of each group will advance to the semi-finals of the competition and qualify for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2019 in France.

The third-placed teams in each group will face each other in a play-off for the fifth and final Asian berth at France 2019.
