DTC to replace faulty AC buses

Transport Minister Ramakant Goswami Saturday directed the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) to replace its faulty air-conditioned buses that break down frequently.

"The corporation has also been asked to call bus providers to ensure effectiveness of cooling in the AC buses to avoid any inconvenience to passengers," Goswami said in a statement issued here.

"The government has taken note of the reported incidents of a number of breakdowns and ineffective cooling in AC buses of DTC due to increase during the hot spell," the statement added.
