Eicher Motors logs 59 percent sales growth

Two-wheeler maker Eicher Motors Ltd on Tuesday said it closed last month logging 59 percent higher sales.

Eicher Motors said in a statement it sold 42,360 units last month, up from 26,643 in August 2014.

According to the company, this is the first time its two-wheeler division Royal Enfield has sold more than 40,000 units in a month.
