Extortionists demand Rs.5 lakh from woman doctor in Patna

A woman doctor in the Bihar capital has been asked to pay Rs.5 lakh by unidentified extortionists, police said on Tuesday.
Hena Rani Devnath was also threatened on her phone with dire consequences if she does not pay the amount, a police official said.
Her husband Rajkishore Prasad lodged a police complaint at the Alamganj police station.
Patna Senior Superintendent of Police Manu Maharaj said they have launched an investigation, and the criminals will be arrested soon.
