A fire broke out in a multi-storey building in central Kolkata on Friday evening, though no injuries were reported, a fire official said.
"The fire broke out on the 10th floor of Life Insurance Corporation building on 16 Chittaranjan Avenue around 8.40 p.m.," a fire official said.
"Ten fire tenders were pressed into service to control the blaze. No injuries have been reported," he added.
