Four Chinese school girls drown

Beijing, April 29 (IANS) Four school girls drowned in a river where they had gone swimming in China's Hunan province, authorities said Monday.

The school pupils drowned Sunday afternoon in Xiangxiang city, reported Xinhua.

The four girls of Yuduan Township Daqiao School drowned in the river while they were swimming after finishing their mid-term examinations, said authorities.
