French embassy in Athens suffers grenade attack

The French embassy in Athens was attacked with a grenade on Thursday, the Greek police said.

The attack occurred at 4.45 a.m., and was carried out by two attackers on a motorcycle, Efe news reported.

The motorcycle was abandoned nearby, the police said.

Security forces are reviewing the footage of surveillance cameras outside the embassy located next to parliament building.
