Goyal appointed Director of IIM-Shillong

Prof. D.P. Goyal, currently Dean and Professor of Management at Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurugram, has been appointed as the Director of Indian Institute of Management - Shillong, an official said on Tuesday.

The Chairperson of the Board of Governors (BoG), IIM-Shillong, Shishir Bajoria announced his appointment as the Director.

"I am indeed delighted to convey that Prof. D.P. Goyal was the unanimous choice of the Search-cum-Selection Committee and the BoG. There were 88 applicants from all over the country, showing the popularity and image of IIM-Shillong," Bajoria said.

Goyal did his Ph.D from Kurukshetra University in Management and Information Systems. He has over 20 Years of teaching experience at Thapar Institute of Technology, Punjabi University; IMT, Ghaziabad; and MDI, Gurugram.
