GSAT-6's orbit raised

The Indian space agency on Saturday said it has raised the orbit of its military communication satellite GSAT-6 successfully.
According to Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), the first orbit raising operation of GSAT-6 was successfully completed on Friday by firing the on-board motors for around 56 minutes.
The satellite was launched by India's heavy rocket geosynchronous satellite launch vehicle-Mark II (GSLV) and put into geo transfer orbit (GTO) on Thursday.
