Hero MotoCorp posts Rs 914 crore net profit

Two-wheeler major Hero MotoCorp Ltd. on Tuesday reported a net profit of Rs 914 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2017.

In a regulatory filing with BSE, the company said it closed the first quarter of the current fiscal with a net profit of Rs 914 crore -- up from Rs 883.09 crore posted for the quarter ended June 30 last year.

The company has logged a total income of Rs 8,744.61 crore for the period ended June 30, 2017 -- up from Rs 8,131.03 crore earned during the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
