India finish 11th in Asian basketball

Indian hoopsters finished 11th out of 15 teams in the Asian Championship here.

India beat Bahrain 75-65 Saturday for the 11th-12th place classification match and won two of the eight matches played in the tournament.

Hosts Philippines will take on Iran in the final while Chinese Taipei will face South Korea for the bronze medal.
