Israel launches nationwide military exercise

The Israeli military commenced a week-long military drill across the country Sunday.

The Israeli military said the Air Force will deploy the Iron Dome anti-missile batteries and other aerial defence systems in various locales, reported Xinhua.

The exercise was "routine" and planned as part of a yearly training schedule, a military spokeswoman in Tel Aviv said without offering any detail.
