Directing the 79-year-old thespian actor Kaikala Sathyanarayana, who will be seen essaying a cameo in upcoming Telugu comedy "Dollar Ki Maro Vaipu", was truly a delight for director Pusala.
"I was initially nervous to direct a legend like Sathyanarayana. But as we started shooting, working with him was such a delight. He still acts with the passion and commitment of a newcomer and that's what makes him a celebrated actor," Pusala told IANS.
"He plays an important cameo in my film. The story revolves around his character, which is very interesting and has come out very well," he said.
"Dollar Ki Maro Vaipu" features Yashwanth and Mitra in lead roles.
Sathyanarayana, who has starred in over 200 Telugu films, was last seen in 2012 Telugu mythological comedy "Daruvu".
