Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov said Wednesday that he and his cabinet had resigned, media reported.
"In accordance with the constitution, the head of state has accepted my resignation," Akhmetov told a government meeting.
"I want to thank President Nursultan Nazarbayev on behalf of myself and my government for his trust."
