'Law & Order' to get a reality series

Drama series "Law & Order" is getting a reality spin-off.

Broadcast network NBC has given the green light to one-hour courtroom docu-drama series "Law & Order: You the Jury" from "Law & Order" boss Dick Wolf and reality producer Magical Elves, reports aceshowbiz.com.

The interactive programme will let the audience take part in determining the verdict of real-life legal cases which are played out on a live TV courtroom.

The show will also allow viewers to vote throughout the trial on the veracity of witnesses and persuasiveness of evidence.
