Lok Sabha staff donates Rs.14 lakh to PM relief fund

The officers and staff of the Lok Sabha Secretariat Monday donated Rs.14 lakh to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund.

Speaker Sumitra Mahajan called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and handed over a cheque of Rs.14 lakh on behalf of the officers and staff of the Lok Sabha Secretariat, an official release said here.

The money was collected from the staff's donation of a day's alary.
