Major fire at Bengal plastic factory

A major fire broke out at a plastic factory in Dankuni in West Bengal's Hooghly district Sunday, police and fire brigade said.

Twenty-two fire tenders were rushed to contain the flames.

The fire is yet to be controlled, police said.

An electrical short circuit was suspected to be the cause of the fire. The extent of damage is not yet clear, officials said.
