Mamata remembers Jyoti Basu on death anniversary
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday remembered former Chief Minister and Marxist leader Jyoti Basu on his seventh death anniversary.
"Solemnly remembering ... Jyoti Basu," she tweeted.
Basu, an iconic Left leader, was the longest serving Chief Minister of the state from 1997 to 2000. He died on January 17, 2010.
