Modi announces Rs.80,000 crore package for J&K

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday announced Rs.80,000 crore economic package for Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing a public rally here, Modi said that the package was just the beginning and that Delhi's treasury will be for residents of this state.

The prime minister is on a day-long visit to Jammu and Kashmir.
