Modi congratulates Indian women's kabaddi team

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Friday congratulated the Indian women's kabaddi team on winning the gold medal in the Asian Games.

"I congratulate them on winning the gold medal. A phenomenal accomplishment!" the prime minister said in a statement.

He said that the Indian women's kabaddi team has made the country very proud.

Indian women's team defeated Iran 31-21 for its second successive kabaddi gold medal in the Asian Games.
