Rabat, Jan 22 (IANS/MAP) The 35th Ordinary Session of the Permanent Representatives Committee (PRC) of the African Union (AU) opened on Monday in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa, with the participation of Morocco.
The Kingdom was represented by Bouchaib Eloumni, Deputy Permanent Representative to the AU.
The PRC meeting is the first regular meeting of the 30th Ordinary Session of the Summit of the AU, which will be held from January 22 to 29.
The PRC meeting will prepare the agenda of the AU Summit Council, scheduled to be held from January 25 to 26.
The 30th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union is being held under the theme "Winning the Fight against Corruption: A Sustainable Path to Africa's Transformation".
