Since being injured against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League last season, Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer says he running "at 100 percent" for the first time.
"It was a great day for me. Today I was able to run at 100 percent for the first time. It was an initial test, we focused on the little things and I came through them all well," Neuer, 31, told Bayern's official website on Wednesday.
"Naturally, I'm hoping to return to the team as soon as possible."
The highly rated shot stopper recovered from a broken metatarsal suffered during the quarter-final defeat at the Bernabeu.
Bayern will open their German Bundesliga season with a home game against Leverkusen on August 18.
Second choice custodian Sven Ulreich played in the Audi Cup defeat to Liverpool on Tuesday.
