New Himachal governor to be sworn-in August 12

Himachal Pradesh Governor-designate Acharya Devvrat will be sworn-in on Wednesday, an official said.

Devvrat, who succeeds Urmila Singh whose term ended January 26, will reach the state capital on Tuesday, governor's principal secretary Sanjay Gupta said in a statement.

Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh was given the additional charge of the hill state, following her retirement January 26.
