North Korea test-fires strategic ballistic missile

North Korea has successfully test-fired a strategic ballistic missile from an underwater submarine, a media report said on Saturday.

North Korea leader Kim Jong Un issued an order to begin the test-firing and watched the test, Xinhua reported, citing the Korean Central News Agency.

The report did not mention the date of the test.
