Orlando Bloom buys $4.8 mn apartment?

Actor Orlando Bloom has reportedly purchased a $4.875 million bachelor pad here.

The "Lord of the Rings" star, who split from Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr in October after three years of marriage, decided to move into a fourth-floor, three-bedroom house here so he and his estranged wife can easily continue to co-parent their three-year-old son, Flynn, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Kerr lives on the Upper East Side of the city.

According to a source, the British star's new pad, located in the same building as singer Taylor Swift's penthouse apartment, was thrilled when his offer was accepted.
