Pietersen fined for slow over-rate

Delhi Daredevils captain Kevin Pietersen was Tuesday fined in view of his team's slow over-rate during their Indian Premier League (IPL) match against Kings XI Punjab at the Ferozeshah Kotla here Monday.

Since it was his first offence of the season under the IPL's Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences, Pietersen was fined only Rs.12 lakh.
