Pleasant weather in Lucknow

The weather became pleasant here in Uttar Pradesh after a brief spell of rain early Tuesday.

The weather improved with gusty winds on Monday night, and the state capital as well as its neighbouring districts received moderate rainfall on Tuesday.

The pleasant weather is also expected to bring down the gap between the demand and supply of power in the state.

The past week has been harrowing for people in the state because of the harsh sun and the dry weather, which added to the rise in mercury and made the summer heat unbearable.
