Red Cross office attacked in Afghanistan, one killed

A group of terrorists Wednesday attacked an office of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in east Afghanistan's Jalalabad city, killing one Afghan security guard.
A car bomb exploded around 5.30 p.m. in front of the ICRC office, Provincial Deputy Police Chief Massom Hashimi told Xinhua.
ICRC Communication Coordinator Robin Waudo confirmed the attack but declined to give any further information.
Hashimi said three ICRC international employees were successfully rescued by police.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
