RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat praises Modi govt in Dussehra address

Says the govt is 'moving in the right direction'

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat today praised the Modi government for its initiatives on national security, economy and international relations. 

 

In his customary Dusshera address to RSS workers at Reshmbagh ground here, which was shown live on Doordarshan for the first time, he said, "It is only six months but positive signs are already emanating that give people hope."
 

He said people should give some more time to the government for expedition and efficient execution of its policies.

 

"It is moving in the right direction, but we will have to give them time... Nobody has a magic wand by which all the problems of many years will disappear," Bhagwat said.

 

 

The live telecast of the speech by national broadcaster Doordarshan has provoked strong reactions.
