Debutant Ramachandran, grandson of late legendary actor M.G Ramachandran, says he shed ten kilos for his upcoming Tamil thriller "Odu Kumar Odu" and he had to undergo rigorous workout regime for the same.
"It's a road thriller that unfolds between Chennai, Bangalore and Goa. My director wanted to get into shape for the character. Hence, I was required to lose weight, nearly 10 kilos, and I underwent taxing workout regime to achieve it," Ramachandran told IANS.
Directed by Shivashankar Mani, the film features some high-octane stunts.
"The action will be very realistic," he said, adding that one of the chase sequences will be the biggest highlight of the film.
