Sunny Saturday in Delhi, light rain likely Sunday

The city experienced sunny skies Saturday and the maximum temperature settled at 34.8 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season. The Met office has forecast light rains Sunday.

"The skies will remain partly cloudy tomorrow (Sunday) some parts of the city might get very light rain," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 34 and 24 degrees Celsius.

Saturday morning in the capital was pleasant and the minimum temperature was recorded at 24.3 degrees Celsius, a notch above average. The maximum humidity settled at 9 percent.

 

Friday's maximum temperature was 34.4 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season, while the minimum temperature was a notch above average at 24.3 degrees.
