It was a warm and sunny Sunday in the national capital with the maximum temperature settling at 38.2 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average. The Met office has forecast a clear sky Monday.
"The sky will remain clear Monday. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 39 and 28 degrees Celsius, respectively," said an India Meteorological Department official.
Sunday's minimum temperature was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
The maximum and minimum humidity was recorded at 71 and 35 percent, respectively.
Saturday's maximum temperature was 38.2 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average, while the minimum settled at 26.4 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season.
