Thank you card to guests not yet customary

Guests make weddings chirpier. They not only travel long distances to attend the ceremony, but also spend on gifts. But not all newlyweds send thank you cards to them, reveals a survey.

Paper Themes, an online wedding stationery shop, conducted a survey and found that one in five newlyweds don't send thank you cards to their guests. Only 11 percent of brides opted not to send them at all and nine percent were selective about whom to send, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"The period just after our wedding was just a blur. By the time everything had settled down, it felt a little late to be sending thank you cards.

"I don't think it's that big a deal. Our friends and family knew how grateful we were that they attended our big day," said Sarah Jackson, one of the brides who admitted to not sending thank you cards.
