Three killed in Bengal fire

Three people were burnt to death after a fire broke out in a slum in West Bengal's West Midnapore district, police said on Monday.

The incident took place in Ghatal area on Sunday night.

"Three persons including a married couple were killed in the blaze," an officer from Ghatal police station said.

"It was an accident. The reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained," he added.
