Top poll official to visit Bihar on August 7

Chief Election Commissioner Naseem Zaidi, along with his team, will visit Bihar on August 7 to review preparations for the upcoming assembly polls, an official said here on Wednesdsay.

The team would meet representatives of various political parties on August 7 and top officials to district-level officials on August 8 to make elaborate security plans for an error-free election process, the official added.

The official said the dates of the elections would be announced after the meetings.
