A Turkish passenger plane skidded off the runway at an airport and ended up halfway down a steep slope into the Black Sea, Turkish media reported on Sunday.
It lost control after landing on Saturday and got stuck in mud just metres away from the sea, with its head very close to the water.
The cause of the incident was not immediately known, the Governor said.
Flights resumed at the Trabzon International Airport on Sunday morning, after being temporarily suspended following the incident.
