Italian Serie A football club Udinese have reportedly signed Brazilian midfielder Edenilson from Brazilian side Corinthians for 3.5 million euros.
Xinhua reported that Corinthians will use cash from the sale to pay outstanding image rights owed to striker Alexandre Pato and finalise their purchase of playmaker Rodriguinho.
The deal is expected to be confirmed within days pending the results of a routine medical exam, according to Brazilian news portal Terra.
Edenilson made 36 league appearances for Corinthians last season, having joined the club from Caxias in 2011.
He has been effective as a holding midfielder and also when deployed at right-back.
