West Bengal BJP chief's car attacked

West Bengal BJP President Dilip Ghosh's car was attacked on Monday in East Midnapore district where he had arrived in the morning to attend a meeting, police said.

According to Ghosh, the attack at Contai was facilitated by Trinamool Congress workers, a charge denied by the ruling party. Police said those behind the attack were yet to be identified.

The BJP claimed that around 10 party workers were injured in the attack.
