World needs Christians: Pope

Vatican City, May 17 (IANS/AKI) The world needs Christians because it needs their "courage, hope, faith and perseverance", Pope Francis tweeted on Tuesday.

"The world needs the courage, hope, faith and perseverance of Christ's followers," Francis wrote on Twitter. The Pope leads some 1.2 billion Catholics worldwide.
