Former One Direction member Zayn Malik is "heavily pursuing" model Gigi Hadid, but she is said to be more ambivalent about their romance.
According to a source, Malik has been spotted on a string of dates with Hadid in past few weeks, and while he is infatuated with her, she is reluctant to get into anything serious and even invited her sister on one of their nights out, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"Zayn is slightly besotted with Gigi. He's been the one heavily pursuing her, rather than the other way round," the source was quoted as saying by Grazia magazine.
"He thinks she's stunning and it wouldn't harm his profile to be dating a top US model as he launches his solo career," the source said while adding that Hadid is "slightly more ambivalent" towards Malik.
"Gigi is slightly more ambivalent. She's aware of Zayn's bad-boy reputation, and is approaching with caution. She even invited her sister Bella on their date to The Nice Guy to encourage Zayn to behave himself," the source said.
